The new Y-I Planning Team is nearly in place and ready for the first official meeting on January 6th. Soon after that meeting the website will include new features, such as the ability for members to suggest projects and events for each education and engagement strand and to volunteer to help with new projects and events. The Planning Team will include 2 co-facilitators for each strand, a youth coordinator for each strand, 2 representatives from the Mobilization Team, and members of the Steering Committee. We currently only have openings for co-facilitators for the Safeguarding the Safety Net strand. If you are interested in discussing your potential leadership for this strand, please send an email to contact@yakima-indivisible.org. We are excited to already have Mobilization Team representation and co-facilitators for each of the following strands:

- Preserving Civic Institutions
- Defending the Rule of Law
- Maximizing Voting Rights
- Bridging the Divide
